do you think Electronic Cigarette: Good or Bad ?
The electronic cigarette has been called a wonderful invention by some, but the Food and Drug Administration is not so happy about it. Despite testimonies from smokers and scientists at the University of California, Berkeley, the FDA is still gunning against the electronic cigarette. So who is right? Are they good or bad?
It kind of depends why you want to use them. If you want to be able to smoke in places where it is prohibited then this product is a good choice. If you are looking for a product that could help you to quit smoking then they could be good for you. If you are looking for a safe product, though, this is not it. Electronic cigarettes still contain some cancer causing agents and most contain at least some nicotine.
An electronic cigarette may be used for smoking in public or when you don't want secondhand smoke in the air. It only gives off a water vapor. No harm is done to anyone around you. However, it is not a safe cigarette. You still get nicotine and in some cases you are still exposed to harmful agents found in regular cigarettes. There are some nicotine free options, but these may contain trace amounts of nicotine. If you were trying to stop smoking, though, this may help since you would get a lowered level of nicotine. It is important to understand that the product is not sold as a smoking cessation device, though.
It really depends on your motivation for buying the electronic cigarette ( www.greatelectroniccigarette.com ) . If you are someone who understands the product and knows what it is intended use is and you are an adult of legal age to purchase tobacco products in your state then you should find electronic cigarettes to be a good product that meets your needs.

RE: Oddbins rescue fails and retailer enters administration
I never thought I would see the end of what was an institution for getting decent wine etc. The Supermarkets are very quickly taking control of everything in the retail sector which is rather depressing.

RE: Andrew Walmsley on Digital: Newspaper ad relics die hard
A poignant piece, though one has to question the research conducted. Why? Newspaper ad revenue, indeed print revenue, has been traded efficiently and effectively for around 7 years now using a system called Adazzle Digitizing data at the beginning of the process, building an audit trail and supporting compliancy. Such is the success in productivity and insight delivered to both the buyer, seller \(and client), the Adazzle system was evolved by user demand 3 years ago to do the same for online; which it does. Used to date by WPP and Aegis agency groups the system links with all media owners. Major, measurable productivity improvements have now been delivered for several years that are essential to sustaining efficient administration for both channels to the benefit of all parties. Profitable trading of ad revenue for newspapers is established, alive and kicking, as it is for online.
RE: Clear Channel reaps annual revenue growth
OBIDAN???? I thought he was Luke Skywalker's mentor. Platform for growth? No... that was the plucking from administration of Titan by JC Decaux last year .You boys are nowhere & the gulf will widen very considerably ,very swiftly. Why is it that Decaux never feel the need to recruit agency journeymen\(& women) or junior marketeers to run their out of home business?Perhaps because they're mostly already working at Clear Channel?
RE: Oxford Media Convention: Hunt proposes to kick-start local TV
Dear Mr Hunt This comment is to inform you that my wife and I have recently incorporated our limited company: Diablotin Television Ltd Company number 7168263, as of February 24, 2010. We registered our home address: 27 Dalewood Gardens as our head office. We are delighted that the government is considering a new Communication Act, and would like to register our interest. To date, we have registered the company with HM Revenue & Customs as Dormant, while we complete the pre-start activities--marketing and business plan; advice and funding; premises and staffing etc. and are not engaged in any trading or business activity. We are working with Business Link, West Sussex Economic Partnership, Sussex Wired and other business organizations by way of attending specially designed work shops for start-ups. In order to conform with our tenancy agreement we can assure that only administration and basic home video editing work is being carried out at 27 Dalewood Gardens. Actual filming of proto-type, mini documentaries, such as our INTERVIEW WITH LAURA MOFFATT and EXTRACTS OF CRAWLEY FESTIVAL are filmed on location. We are cognizant of our immediate neighbours, communal areas and parking spaces and assure that our business will have no additional traffic to the area; no loading or unloading, of any stock; storage of any materials deemed to be harmful or cause interference with resident's privacy and respect. Our administrative work, home video editing and equipment at our private residence will not cause any disturbance with our neighbours at unreasonable hours or create other nuisances, such as noise or smells as we ourselves are law abiding and hard working community residents. As entrepreneurs, journalists and published authors, we trust that you will agree that starting a new business from scratch needs the support of the community and key individuals like yourself to ensure our success. Our quest is to find funding to open a storefront/sales office, and production facilities elsewhere at the soonest opportunity. We are actively researching all possibilities and following advice and guidance from consultants of interest. We would appreciate if you could direct us to the appropriate department\(s) or person\(s) responsible for enterprise development in at the town hall to advise s further on all of the above. RE: Butlins 'leaving' by Mother
My grandparents have lived in Bognor Regis since I was born, just down the road from Butlins. Although i am very familiar with their product, as a child we couldnt afford to go so 'upmarket', instead i spent several summers at the down market blue-coat alternative 'Pontins'. That wonderful resort went into administration at the end of last year. Butlins invested £28 million in 2008 in upgrading their accomodation and facilities at their 3 resorts and refocusing for families with younger children. They intend to invest another £34 million this year on further improvements. The new ad focuses on appealing to this young family demographic.
RE: Dreams appoints Starcom MediaVest Group to £35m account
Never mind the geographical trivia \(it says North East in the article above unless I've had too many festive sherries) & rejoice!! For Starcom have actually won an account...well...it looks like they picked it up from an agency that's gone into ,or was heading into, administration. But a win is a win & boy do they need one. I hear they're also on the shortlist for the £150m Mrs Miggins Pie Shop account .
RE: Moody Britain 2010: What can brands learn from the spending review?
I severly disagree with this article. What you think is Nowness has long been hailed as a flexible budgeting approach, based on the constantly changing political and economic environment. And to reiterate the message that the government is now spreading, i.e. that Labour was responsible for the current spending review, is a complete manipulation of facts. It was not Labour's spending which caused the budget deficit but it was the recession, initiated by a worldwide credit crunch \(which started in the American housing market) which caused the deficit. If the Brown administration had not bailed out several banks and fincial institutions, we would have delved into a full blown depression and things would be much much worse. So the previous government, although certainly not faultless in general, actually averted the worst by spending more on saving what there was left of the economy after the credit crunch bit. And that is not a policy of Nowism or whatever you want to call it but actually taking the necessary action in forsight of what worse could happen to the economy otherwise.
