Her keynote speech at IAB Engage last year was truly horrific. A sales pitch \(with no visuals), and numerous US only examples mentioned. Put half the audience to sleep, really wasn't a lot of love for her on twitter. Hope she fares better in her next role...

It follows last April's deal to show Premier League game highlights online. James Tipple, vice-president, marketing, at Yahoo! EMEA, talks about the business rationale behind its repositioning as a content provider.

Once we've all got intelligent tellies and radios, won't we get even more irritated with ads for things we have absolutely no need for? At the moment Yahoo always shows me ads for things I've just bought... although I can see their logic \(a spare dishwasher? Can't be too careful) I find it really annoying.
