RE: Mindshare set to take £12m Post Office media while UM London poised for Royal Mail
Who ever wins - you cant help but thinking the whole process is degraded in that it ends on an e-auction. I bet the pitch brief asked for ideas and strategies....but somehow it ends up this way. Do any creative agency pitches end up on an e-auction?

RE: P&G asks Facebook to 'like' clean water programme
I can't help feeling cynical about this - but believe me I don't want to be because it's a powerful campaign. I just can't help feeling that this is a "me too" use of Facebook and a strategy that is not entirely thought through. Having looked at the interactive nature of the campaign and the great film, I wonder why the agency responsible for the facebook strategy did not look at adding in a seeding and amplification strategy to further enhance the exposure of this campaign. It's a global issue yet feels like a local announcement. For an incredibly small fee this campaign could have been seeded globally to ensure interaction on a much larger scale. A great seeding agency such as Rubber Republic could have enhanced this activity and amplified reach and interaction tenfold.

RE: Carat lands $3 billion global GM media
And here's an even funnier exchange between Paul & George; Paul # 5 - Jan 25, 2012 12:28 PM George, clearly you have never left the US and must be an obese cheeseburger eater. As surprising as it may sound to you, guess what, your other American conglomerate Ford is also serviced by a UK company. Tough luck brother. 1 Reply GEORGE PARKER BOISE, ID # 6 - Jan 25, 2012 3:22 PM @Paul... I am British, now an american citizen... My point is... GM was baled out by the US tax payer... Ford never took a penny from the US tax payer. GM took billions... And I don't do cheeseburgers. So, Fu*k you. Cheers/George Well a point of order -Fords agency/media partners are actually Irish not British -well for \(lower ) taxation purposes they are anyway but we get the drift George.
