Cunningham, former chief executive of Norfolk estate agents, Howards, will work with the Norwich-based Archant regional digital team, with responsibility for the day-to-day running and future development of Homes24.
Peter Swallow, digital development director at Archant Regional, said Cunningham would bring his expertise and wide knowledge of the property industry to the whole of Archant business, and would accelerate the development of Archant's online activities.
Cunningham has more than 20 years' experience in estate agencies in East Anglia and south-east Essex and was recently the chair of Norwich Association of Estate Agents and sat on several national committees. He was involved in the initial development of the Homes24.co.uk site.
