Future of BBC Magazines in doubt after Thompson sidelines print

LONDON - The future role magazines will play in BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC, appeared to be sidelined by BBC director general Mark Thompson yesterday who told staff, and later an FT Conference, that he was backing "digital rather than in print".
