Oxford Media Convention: Tories will abandon Independently Funded News Consortia

LONDON - The Conservatives intend to promote a network of city-based TV stations instead of the Government's Independently Funded News Consortia should they get into power in this year's general election, according to shadow culture secretary Jeremy Hunt.
