Star outshines competition in June ABCs

The Daily Star outshone the competition in both the daily and Sunday markets, according to June ABC figures. Its daily version achieved a year-on-year sales hike of 19% to 870,457 copies, and the Daily Star Sunday was up 5% to 386,069, mainly due to reduced cover prices at both titles. The Sunday Times' circulation rose 1% month on month to 1,210,352 copies, whereas The Times remained static at 590,900.
