The newspaper has signed an agreement with Sky to sponsor cricket and darts coverage as well as well as its phone-in sports show, You're On Sky Sports, and Morning Report.
It has also partnered with Irish network Setanta to sponsor TV coverage of 12 football matches as well as coverage in its Weekend Highlights.
The newspaper, which publishes its first issue on 22 March, a week after the Cheltenham Festival, is set to embark on a £2 million cross media campaign planned and bought by Mediavest Manchester.
