RSPORT will be free with the Racing Post every weekend and will cover all sports gambling including football, rubgy, cricket, snooker and darts.
The first issue will be 36 pages, though this will be extended at busy times of the sporting calendar.
It will also include a listings guide to sport on TV, giving prices on offer an expert opinions and tips.
The launch will be supported by a marketing campaign involving in-paper promotions, email promotions, race sponsorship and external newspaper advertising.
The new product is designed to boost the appeal of the paper to existing readers and to increase awareness of the Racing Post's sports coverage.
Chris Smith, editor of the Racing Post, said: "RPSPORT is one of the most exciting innovations in the history of the Racing Post operation. Our sports section has been growing and expanding for years but this is taking it not just one step further, but two or three."
