Paper Round (26 Jan) - a morning look at the day's newspapers

LONDON - The qualities lead on the not guilty verdict for the mother who helped her daughter die, tabloids sing the praises of the stars out in force for Haiti and The Sun heads the promo charge with the chance to win a £40k caravan.

Considering you can buy a two-bedroom house for £25k, (we hear Shildon is nice at this time of year) it must be some caravan. Should the Sun reader lucky enough to win it buy a copy of today's Guardian, they can catch up on their Wordsworth while they're hanging out in it.

In a pretty lack-lustre morning for give-aways, The Daily Mirror is looking to a Super League pull-out to pull in the readers, and The Independent is pushing part two of its collectible '100 Years of Movie Stars' series.

Northern and Shell's Express and Daily Star continue their price-cutting campaign and The Times lunch offer still has pride of place splashed across the top of the paper.
