The former Boyzone star will host the flagship show every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm, featuring music and celebrity interviews.
A dedicated microsite will launch to support Keating's on-air activity and encourage listener interactivity and song requests.
Keating's arrival at Magic follows guest stints at the Bauer radio station and further bolsters the Sunday programming schedule, which already includes London's market leader in commercial radio's 10am to 2pm slot, namely Secret Songs presented by '80s pop star Kim Wilde.
In last October's RAJAR results, the self-styled "more music, less talk" station posted a 6.6% rise in listeners year on year and continues to be the only commercial station in London to have more than two million listeners.
Keating called the move an "honour and an exciting opportunity".
Separately, Tourism Ireland today launches a three-month advertising campaign for its consumer-facing brand Discover Ireland across Magic 105.4, which includes Keating's new show.
The activity will include rewarding listeners with trips to Ireland as part of a marketing deal brokered by Bauer executives and Mindshare directors Caroline Hughes and Isabel Cockroft.
