Five permanent staff and two freelancers have left the station.
In a statement, Radio Tay said: "Radio Tay's core purpose is to inform and entertain its local listeners and broadcast the very best programming for its audiences and advertisers.
"The recent changes will have minimal impact on on-air content, while enhancing our commercial offering and better serving our audiences and advertisers."
Radio Tay is part of Bauer Radio's Big City network and over FM and AM had a weekly reach of 148,000 in an RSA of 373,000 and employs 15 freelancers and 18 staff.
A spokesman confirmed there are currently no other changes at other Scottish Bauer stations.
