TradeDoubler won the account from incumbent DGM, after a competitive pitch against undisclosed agencies.
It will handle all programmes covering Vodafone's consumer and business offerings, including voice contracts, pay-as-you-talk, mobile broadband and accessories.
From August 2008 to July 2009, Vodafone spent £3.5m on online media, 6% of its £59.8m UK media spend, according to The Nielsen Company.
In September, Vodafone re-appointed OMD to handle its £800m global media business, only six months after appointing Aegis-owned agency Carat in the UK.
