It is understood he will work closely with the sales team. He will be responsible for improving the research available to the commercial team on MEN Media's products, which include regional TV channel Channel M and 22 weekly papers.
Raywood joins MEN Media from Gold Medal Travel, a travel company offering internet booking systems as well as packages and tailor-made holidays, where he was head of marketing from 2008.
Before joining Gold Medal Travel, he was sales and marketing director at car and motorcycle retailer Demon Tweeks from July 2006 to August 2007. Raywood worked as head of marketing at Littlewoods Gaming from 2001 to 2006.
