Kuperus will be responsible for developing Kinetic's market position in The Netherlands. He will also promote Kinetic digital strategy across EMEA, which a spokesman from Kinetic said includes €2bn of out-of-home media billings across 14 offices.

He joins Kinetic from Dutch digital screen network Librium.TV, which he co-founded in November 2003 and that has screens in McDonald's restaurants, public transport and shopping malls.

Dutch media company Telegraaf Media bought a 40% stake in Librium.TV in 2005, which it increased to 87% in 2007 and in June 2009, Librium.TV was acquired by venture capitalists BST Company.

Kuperus has worked in media for almost 19 years, 12 of which were at Mediaedge:cia (Amsterdam).

At MEC, as client service director and partner, Kuperus was responsible for clients such as Coty Inc, H&M, United International Pictures and Colgate Palmolive.
