What does your job involve?
I am responsible for developing the overall brand identity and programme for all three 30 Days brand extensions: 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty, 30 Days of Food & Drink and 30 Days of Green Living. I secure commercial revenue, from headline sponsorship to bespoke ideas; plan and implement the marketing strategy across all the NatMags brands, and work with our editorial teams to deliver a jam-packed programme of events for each festival.

What qualifications and experience do you need?
A sound understanding of business, an entrepreneurial drive, strong sales and negotiation experience, people-management skills, creative and strategic thinking, the ability to inspire other people and patience.

How do you spend a typical day?
30 Days is still only in its second year, so there is a big awareness job to do. I spend a lot of time writing creative proposals, managing the team and thinking about all the things we can do to develop the brand to benefit advertisers and consumers.

What's it like working for NatMags?
Exciting, challenging and diverse.

What's the best thing about your job?
I love the fact that the 30 Days brand extensions cover all major aspects of my life - fashion and beauty, food and drink, and green living. Working within the different sectors keeps my job fresh.

And the worst?
NatMags is based in Soho, so being surrounded by so many shoe shops is not good for my bank balance.

What keeps you awake at night?
"To do" lists and the dog barking.

Who helped you get where you are today?
I have had great support from inspirational mentors at NatMags over the years, who have given me the opportunities to progress my career.

Who do you aspire to be like?
I don't aspire to be like anyone, but I am inspired by so many people, professionally and personally, including Jessica Burley, managing director at NatMags, and Justine Southall, Cosmopolitan publisher. They both have impressive drive and business acumen.
