The three companies - which each hold a strong footing among youth audiences - are not merging, nor is a combined sales force being established. The three firms will collaborate on specific projects using their separate, existing sales teams.

Screen will be managed by Dan Salem, director of partnerships, VBS, Mike Hope-Milne, enterprise director, Pearl & Dean and Katie Morrison, group head of engagement, MySpace.

The partnership will present advertisers and agencies with a one-stop-shop for cross-platform ads across TV, online and cinema.

For VBS, the venture will complement RSVP, a commercial alliance formed in 2004 between itself, the former Capital Radio Group (now Global Radio) and IPC Ignite as a one-stop service for media agencies and advertisers targeting youth audiences.

Nick Bampton, managing director, VBS, said the alliance would allow VBS to gain "many more briefs".

Simon Daglish, vice-president, commercial director, MySpace UK, added that Screen provided "an unrivalled opportunity" for integrated campaigns.

Kathryn Jacob, chief executive, Pearl & Dean, said the partnership provided "a truly integrated approach".
