The media regulator imposed a financial penalty of £25,000 against the Desmond-owned RHF Productions for promoting "extremely sexually explicit material", available on a number of websites, on its Red Hot services.
The current rules deem that braodcasters are not allowed to promote websites giving access to free-to-view sexually explicit material without any protections.
"This is particularly important when such references may be seen by children," the regulator added.
It also fined Portland Enterprises, the broadcasting unit of Desmond's Northern & Shell, £27,500 for broadcasting on Television X2, under encryption, a show called Bathroom Bitches. The transmission material was equivalent to R18 material, which is outlawed by Ofcom.
Portland Enterprises had previously been fined £25,000 for a similar offence.
