Tim Southwell launches 'Show Me The Golf TV'

LONDON - Tim Southwell, the co-founder of Loaded and founder of GolfPunk, has launched a Golf TV show, 'Show Me The Golf TV', which will be broadcast on Setanta's Golf Channel.

'Show Me The Golf TV' features celebrity and player interviews, instruction, a USPGA Tour round-up, and various other content designed to inject a sense of humour into the programme.

The showmethegolf.com website also features a social network for golfers, along with extra video footage.

Southwell presents the half-hour magazine-style programme, along with golfer Sophie Horn.

Also joining Southwell and Horn is Sam Torrance, the former Ryder Cup player and captain, and Jay Townsend, the TV and radio commentator, who is the show's American Tour correspondent.

Nick Small, whose credits include 'Top Gear' and 'The Travel Show' is the executive producer.

Southwell said: "[Setanta] shares my vision for how golf can be presented in an entertaining and engaging way, and is supportive of innovation in terms of presentation and content."

"With Sam, Jay and Sophie on board, and Nick at the production helm, I think we've got an amazingly talented team in place who can really communicate their passion for the game, and share their knowledge and insights with the viewers."
