New features in next week's December issue will include an emphasis on more contemporary houses, a revamped logo, new fonts and larger photographs. Further changes include extra pages dedicated to decorating, shopping, food and lifestyle and more pet pages.
The magazine last had a design overhaul in 2006. It recorded an Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) figure of 87,056 in the period 1 January 2008 to 30 June 2008, up 5.7% year on year.
Rhoda Parry, editor of Country Homes & Interiors, said: "Moving to the country is now a major life stage for the UK's affluent and well-educated women. They are escaping urban areas for a beautiful home and a better life for themselves and their families."
