Two short comedy series from Disney’s digital media studio Stage 9, Squeegees and Voicemail, are available in the UK on MSN Video from today (13 October) and will be rolled out across France, Germany, Spain and Sweden.
The deal is Disney-ABC-ESPN’s first Europe-wide distribution deal for Stage 9 content and reflects the growth of entertainment and video on the internet.
Geoff Sutton, general manager, MSN Europe, said working with Disney’s Stage 9 enables MSN to give European consumers the best web-based entertainment available. He said this type of content helped MSN create even more engagement between audience and advertisers.
Ben Pyne, president, global distribution for Disney Media Networks, said the company was committed to working with international partners to make its content easily available globally to the digital generation.

LONDON - Disney programming will soon be made available across Europe via MSN Video, following a deal between Walt Disney's distribution arm, Disney-ABC-ESPN, and Microsoft.
