According to accounts for 2007 filed at Companies House, turnover for the publishing group also increased by 4% last year to £354.9m.
The company conceded that it was comparatively reliant on advertising revenues, but said that the Telegraph titles had performed well, adding that its printed products are increasingly supplemented by online viewers and page impressions.
It added that its print advertising revenue was now supplemented online, as advertisers demand multimedia solutions to creative briefs. TMG did not break out its digital revenues for 2007, however.
In recent months, TMG has focused on integrating its online and print operations.
