The site, which offers classic TV clips, full-length TV series, games and celebrity interviews for consumers in their 40s and 50s, will now offer around 1,000 trailers for movies made between the 1950s and 1990s.
The collection will be searchable alphabetically, by genre, or by decade and provides information on each film.
TVLand.com has become increasingly popular in recent years with each visitor spending an average of 17.7 minutes accessing the site.
The expansion of TVLand.com is one of several recent moves by Viacom to expand its online portfolio. It plans to develop a raft of virtual worlds this year for the entertainment and online properties it already owns, such as kids' TV channel Nickelodeon. For example, it will launch an online portal themed around its SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon.
