The channel will showcase its own produced content, such as sport magazine shows, from today (Monday) to mark the start of the summer term.
In the opening month, the sports channel will be broadcast in the early evenings on the Sub.tv network, which is accessible to students from nearly 100 UK universities.
Eurosport and Sub.tv will work on a revenue-share basis for clients advertising around the content.
In the UK, Eurosport is already available in approximately 10 million homes on the Sky, Virgin Media and Top Up TV platforms.
Simon Crane, managing director of Eurosport in the UK, said the deal would offer content to a "highly prized demographic".
