Carat wins Media Week Agency of the Year

 

LONDON - Carat was last night crowned Agency of the Year for the second year running at the annual Media Week Awards ceremony held in London last night.

Manning Gottlieb OMD won the Grand Prix for its Police Community Support Officers campaign for the Home Office, which also won Media Idea Large.

Sky Media won the prestigious Sales Team of the Year category, beating Emap2, the Evening Standard, Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions and Times Media.

This year’s awards attracted more than 400 entries, and 1,600 people attended the evening ceremony, held to honour the best media thinking of 2007.

Other winning campaigns included MediaVest’s John Smith’s People’s Race for Scottish & Newcastle and ZenithOptimedia’s Don’t Hide It strategy for the NSPCC.
