All editorial and commercial staff will remain with the title at the new owner, which is run by Simon McKay, a former business development manager in Trinity Mirror’s national sales operation.
McKay registered the Giant Clipper name with Companies House four years ago, but the company has been dormant until now.
Adam Mattera, editor of Attitude, said the company would change name in due course, most likely to Attitude Publishing.
Remnant entered into consultation with staff at the end of last year, publishing a final issue at the end of January.
The magazine’s fortunes were understood to be linked to wider issues at the company and sister publishing outfit SMD, whose men’s magazine Front has not been published for two months.
