Time Out Manchester, which will cover the four-week period from 21 September to 20 October, will have a print run of 30,000. It will be on sale in Manchester and the north-west with a £1.50 cover price. The content will be a combination of listings guides and visitor information.
The edition's launch is timed to coincide with the Labour Party Conference, which is held in the city, and all delegates will receive a free issue.
The magazine is edited by former Maxim editor and Daily Mail columnist Bill Borrows. Other contributors include food critic Andy Shanahan, author and broadcaster Flic Everett, and XFM DJ and Elbow frontman Guy Garvey. Local photographers and designers such as Peter Saville and Karen McBride will also contribute to the publication.
Time Out Manchester will go weekly from spring 2007 and the publisher is also planning an edition for Liverpool.
