Future re-launches PC Plus

Future Publishing is to re-launch its long running PC Plus magazine in what bosses have called its “biggest reinvention” in almost 20 years.

Future re-launches PC Plus

The new-look magazine, available from 28 November, will coincide with a new sister website – pcplus.co.uk.

PC Plus will contain new features, including sections for web developers, Linux users and programmers, plus a helpdesk section, coverage of the UK's computer fairs and a directory of products and services.

Publisher Stuart Anderton said: "Our research over the last year has shown us that there needs to be more to a PC magazine than never-ending budget printer reviews and monitor group tests; the existing PC magazines are seen as dull catalogues.

"We wanted to get to the heart of what people love about PCs – and that's cutting-edge technology.

"The new PC Plus delivers unrivalled technology coverage, combined with selective reviews of the very best products and expert opinion and advice.

The re-launched edition, which will be the 237th for Future, will include a coverdisc with an with over £300 worth of full software.
