Independent marketing director Trish Wadley has resigned suddenly just six months after her appointment. Her decision comes three weeks after media planning and buying account for the paper's £3 million of advertising business was handed to Manning Gottlieb Media. The creative account was given to Walsh Trott Chick Smith and it is not thought that either of the appointments will be jeapordised by the departure.
Neither Wadley nor her boss at the paper commercial director Stephen Miron were commenting on the departure but Wadley is not believed to have a job to go to.
