Forward Media, owners and operators of Southport's 107.9 Dune FM, has acquired Connect FM from Jersey-based Hub Trans Communications.
The station, formerly known as KCBC, serves the areas of Kettering, Corby, Rushden and Wellingborough.
Forward Media's group managing director, Kenni James, said the company will be investing to develop Connect FM, which will continue to operate from its main Kettering base.
