RadioCentre loses strategist Lisa Kerr

Kerr was recruited by the commercial radio body after having played a key role in stewarding radio's input into the Digital Economy Act when at Digital Radio UK in 2010.

Andrew Harrison, chief executive of RadioCentre, said: "After a decade leading commercial radio's external affairs teams – first at CRCA and more recently at RadioCentre – Lisa is leaving us on a high, with record audience reach, growth in advertising market share and a framework for future success around the Digital Economy Act, which she helped champion last year."

Kerr has been representing and promoting the interests of the commercial radio industry since joining CRCA (Commercial Radio Companies Association) as public affairs manager in 2001.

Earlier in her career, Kerr had been a presenter and producer for Classic FM and Radio Forth, and was group managing director of Radio Services, responsible for a portfolio of local radio stations across the UK.
