British Airways reminds Daily Mail readers that "somewhere in the world the sun is shining" in a bid to tempt those tired of the wet weather to book a holiday.

Citroen’s press ads echo the current Virgin Atlantic campaign, showing flight attendants in red uniforms presenting its business-class van range.

Aviva promotes its "street to school" programme, which aims to help children living in poverty into school, with an ad in The Guardian.

Sky’s "little monsters" campaign filters down to the brand's press ads, with the broadcaster offering a free Sky+ box with certain TV packages.

And Lindt chocolate advertises its unusual "touch of sea salt" flavour, urging Times readers to "experience the unexpected".
