This year's features list for mediaweek.co.uk has been refined and updated to ensure it represents the ever evolving media industry. It boasts a number of new initiatives and projects that are open to everyone working within the media industry.

A brief synopsis of the features can be found below

  • My Media World – This feature will be open to all media professionals under the level of CEO and managing director. If you are interested in taking part contact the editorial team, details below. The project will involve each participant completing a number of statements, that include: "I have worked in the media since…", "Not many people know that…", and "If I ruled the media world I would…"
  • Agency of the Month – The idea is to find the best performing media agency each month. Agencies are invited to send in the answers to a number of questions to stand a chance of being named Agency of the Month. The questions, which are based on their achievements over a month, include: number of accounts won; outstanding client solutions; number of awards won and contribution to the industry. An agency can only win this title once every 12 months.
  • Owner of the Month – Similar to the above, except the owners have to answer the following questions on their monthly performances: example of creative solutions for agencies or clients; example of financial success; collaboration with agencies; major staff hires and number of awards won. Both awards will be decided by the editorial team.
  • Agency Abodes – Media Week’s editorial team will come into an agency’s headquarters to produce a three-minute video that will showcase the CEO or managing director introducing each abode.
  • Media Owner Homes – As above, but for media owners.
  • Media Week Sessions – These are a number of breakfast briefings and evening networking sessions that will bring to life the topics of debate from the brand’s TrendWatch features. Each session will feature three or four industry experts providing an insight into various topics.
  • Reputation Surveys  – Media owner and agency reputation surveys conducted by an independent research company that will be derived from information garnered from asking clients about media agencies, media agencies of media owners, and media owners of media agencies
  • Steps to Success in Media – An A5 print supplement providing a comprehensive guide on furthering careers in the industry. Split into two parts, agency and owner, it will provide essential advice and information on taking the next step on the career path in the media industry. It will contain expert advice from staff at all levels talking about how they reached their current positions and what they need to do to move onto the next level; what opportunities they should be looking for; what pitfalls to avoid and how long they should stay in one position. One or two people representing each rung of the career ladder will provide comment and insight.

Another feature is 30 Under 30.
