The 3rd Annual Media Sales Cup sponsored by MediaWeek and MediaWeek Jobs is the best sporting tournament in the UK media industry and a low-cost way to top up your team spirit and reward your best performers.
24 teams will battle it out on the pitches of Powerleague London City on Friday 21st May to win The Media Sales Cup, the Plate, plus the popular penalty shootout and the fiendishly difficult crossbar challenge.
Last year's winners News International will be back to defend their title, taking on returning teams from 2009 plus many new entrants (including Dennis Publishing, Haymarket, The FT, The Jewish Chronicle...) representing business and consumer magazines, outdoor advertising, online and new media, TV & radio and events.

How does it work?
The tournament follows the Champion's League format with a group stage followed by knockout matches.
The top 2 teams from each of the groups will progress to the knockout stage to play for The Media Sales Cup. The remaining teams play for The Plate in the same knockout format: quarter finals, semi finals and the final.
...and for the worst team, there's the highly coveted spoon.
