Newspaper sector experiences a mixed September
September was a good month for the quality newspaper sector. While the daily and Sunday tabloids' combined average circulation fell month on month, last month's ABCs show that circulation across the six Sunday qualities rose 3.6% from August.

July ABCs make grim reading for Sunday populars
The latest ABCs won't offer any cheer to beleaguered executives at the Sunday populars. Among those particularly hit are Trinity Mirror titles The People, down 13.2% year on year, and Sunday Mirror, down 7.78%.
