CBS Outdoor will continue to sell the outdoor advertising on the exterior and interior of most Go-Ahead buses.

Go-Ahead claims to be the largest bus operator in Greater London, and claims its fleet, which includes franchises across the south coast and the North East of England, carries a total of 1.6 million passengers a day.

Jason Cotterrell, franchise director at CBS Outdoor, said: "This long-term partnership is extremely important to CBS Outdoor, as the group forms an integral part of both our national and local bus advertising proposition.

He added: "Our in-depth knowledge and clear understanding of Go-Ahead's operations across the country ensures that CBS Outdoor continues to deliver revenues in line with localised objectives, through innovative marketing and new product development."

CBS Outdoor has more bus ad contracts than any other media owner.

Dave Lynch, group procurement director at Go-Ahead, said: "With CBS Outdoor's market-leading expertise in transport advertising and in-depth knowledge of consumers and target audiences, we believe this partnership will be of benefit to the group as a whole."

Earlier this month, CBS Outdoor retained the five-year outdoor media contract for the rail stations in FirstGroup network. CBS Outdoor said it won the FirstGroup contract after a competitive pitch against other undisclosed media owners.
