Paper Round (5 Feb) - a morning look at the day's newspapers

LONDON - Scandal is all over the papers this morning with MPs being forced to pay back £1m of swindled expenses and The Conservative's shadow home secretary, Chris Grayling, being accused of using figures "likely to mislead the public".

"Lies, damn lies and Tory crime statistics," cries The Independent on Grayling, while The Daily Telegraph opts for "This rotten Parliament" for its MPs' expenses splash.

The tabloids continue to report on John Terry's love life but The Sun switches its attention to the escapades of football boss Avram Grant. It's more bad new for Toyota as The Guardian reports the threat of a second recall.

The Mirror gets back to promoting its children's book offer on its cover, with readers able to pick up Anne Fine's The Diary of a Killer Cat today.

The Guardian again plugs its Japanese language series which starts tomorrow and Concept 2 is on the cover of The Daily Telegraph advertising its fitness equipment.

Meanwhile, after a fling with Tesco earlier this week, The Sun has tied up with Sainsbury's to offer a free litre of Candia Just Milk.
