The Bollywood-inspired version of Nickelodeon's cartoon sea sponge will run across the Nickelodeon UK network from Saturday, 14 November.

It forms part of Nickelodeon's SpongeBash finale and will run across the global Nickelodeon network following its UK release.

The 30-second ad, placed by Universal McCann, will also appear in Vue and Cineworld cinemas nationwide from tomorrow (13 November) until 1 January.

Nickelodeon UK's vice-president creative director, Peter Drake, said Bollywood Bob "pushes the boundaries and challenges the norm" and is expected to extend SpongeBob beyond Nickelodeon's core audience.
