Polling Station - Absolut Vodka makes protest pay

Absolut Vodka makes protest pay as G20 Summit boosts political blogs.

As world leaders rolled into London to take part in the G20 Summit, the public's appetite for information and comment provided a welcome spike for some of the UK's leading political bloggers.

Traffic across the MessageSpace network, already almost 50% up year on year, rose by about a third. Absolut Vodka took full advantage, roadblocking the network for the duration of the summit.

METHODOLOGY: MessageSpace is a cross-party blog ad network. The company sells across political blogs including Guido Fawkes, Iain Dale's Diary, Political Betting, UK Polling Report and Boris Johnson, among others. Figures are from internal server data. - MessageSpace.co.uk
