AOL Classifieds has been developed in partnership with Oodle, which operates the largest network of classifieds services in the US. Through Oodle's networks of more than 250 partner sites, buyers will be able to look at some 40 million listings, aggregated from more than 80,000 different sites, while advertisers will be able to post a listing for free.

In addition, AOL Classifieds links consumers directly to classifieds listings on other properties within the AOL network, including AOL Autos, AOL Jobs, AOL Personals, and AOL Real Estate.

Founded by former Excite and eBay executives, Oodle's management team includes chief executive Craig Donato, senior vice-president of Oodle Network Kevin Doerr and vice-president of marketing Faith Sedlin.
