Number of people in the company?
We have 15 office-based staff, but we are looking to increase our numbers in 2009. For reasons of logistics, our drivers are based all over the UK.

Who does what?
We have a board of directors, but the management team consists of managing director Karen Olsen and operations director David Pounds. Karen's team looks after sales and account handling and running the office, while David's team looks after the logistics of the campaigns and the transport side of the business. The sales team is led by Helen Connolly and her team includes Sally Siggers and Sue Fugatt.

Who is the biggest character?
Definitely Karen Olsen, because she is vivacious, flirtatious, fun and very charismatic. However, she always demonstrates professionalism and dedication at all times.

What is the office environment like?
Electric. The phones are constantly ringing, we have drivers coming in and out of the office and the staff are often up against tight deadlines. Mobile Media is a hardworking, driven environment to work in, but everybody is also encouraged to play hard.

What stands you apart from the rest of the industry?
Having been established for more than 20 years, we know the industry inside out and are able to get the best results for our extensive client base. We are constantly investing in new technologies to ensure we are market-leading. We were also selected as finalists in an Environmental Excellence award sponsored by BP.

What does it take to get a job in your company?
Everyone needs to show tenacity, dedication and the ability to take a joke. We have various reward schemes, so staff can earn extra money. Most importantly, we seek to recruit people who fit into our culture and mindset.

How are staff encouraged to hit targets?
We have a commission scheme in place for our sales team - it's simple, the more sales they make, the more money they earn. And whenever we have a good month - which, luckily, is quite often - we take the entire company out for meals.

Where do you let your hair down?
The team has been known to hit the dancefloors of the numerous pubs and clubs we have at our disposal in Bournemouth and Poole, near our base in Christchurch, Dorset. We encourage our staff to socialise as much as possible - it's good for the team dynamic.
