Attinger Jack hired to handle Countrywide campaign

LONDON - Countrywide, the glass veranda company, has appointed specialist customer acquisition agency Attinger Jack to handle a press and direct response TV (DRTV) campaign launching this month.

The £600,000 campaign aims to generate leads for Countrywide’s in-house sales force, as well as to establish the one-year-old brand within the home extension and improvements sector.

Countrywide holds the UK marketing rights to German-made glass verandas that hope to find a gap in the market with their low construction costs and ability to bypass the need for planning permission.

With an initial first year test budget of £50,000 per month, Attinger Jack will create 60-second DRTV ads to run across UK terrestrial and satellite channels, and print ads for national and magazine press.

The appointment builds on a number of new business wins for Attinger Jack in the summer, including an account for mail order butcher Donald Russell and a campaign for shoe specialist Natureform.

The agency’s no-risk, cost-per-acquisition CPA model, where clients only pay for the leads they receive, appears to be increasingly striking a chord as trading conditions tighten.
