NMA targets the motoring sector

LONDON - The Newspaper Marketing Agency is targeting marketers, media and advertising agencies with a publication extolling the virtues of newspaper advertising for automotive brands.

The NMA has printed 2,500 copies of a motoring-themed issue of NMA News, which is being mailed out from next week. The 24-page newspaper-style publication stresses the effectiveness of newspapers as an advertising medium.

This is the second time the idea has been used - last October an edition of NMA News targeted the food sector.

The NMA is planning to roll out the concept across other industry sectors. A version of the publication aimed at the drinks industry and its related agencies is due to be sent out in the next few weeks. The organisation is also putting together another automotive edition specifically focusing on green issues and is planning a cosmetics and toiletries special.
