Sun to sponsor Sky's Soccer AM

LONDON - The Sun has signed up to be exclusive broadcast sponsor of Sky Sport's weekly Soccer AM show for the new football season.

The partnership launches this Saturday, 16 August, alongside the kick-off for the Barclays Premier League.

The Sun will have exclusive brand exposure on the main Saturday morning Sky Sports show, as well as the "Best Bits" highlights TV show.

Soccer AM, which kicks off the Premier League football weekend on Sky Sports, has been on air since 1996.

Creative credits for the six-figure deal have been produced by ad agency Brothers and Sisters, using the strap line "Football. We're all over it."

This sponsorship forms part of a wider above-the-line Sun campaign.

The deal was sealed by Sky Media's sponsorship team.
