Reveal is to be rebranded as the "celebrity magazine written by celebrities".

Eight of Reveal's new celebrity writers star in the television ad, produced by HMDG and directed by Declan Lowney (Father Ted), which will premier on primetime TV on 18 August.

The new-look issue will be out on 19 August, at the existing cover price of £1.20. The television campaign will be supported by press ads.

Reveal's 12 new celebrity writers include Carol Vorderman on the web, Lawrence Llewellyn-Bowen on homes, Martine McCutcheon on beauty, Vanessa Feltz as an agony aunt, Holly Willoughby on red carpet style and James Martin of Saturday Kitchen on food.

The rebrand comes after research showed readers wanted more than just gossip about celebrities. The new-look Reveal will provide readers with celebrity-inspired lifestyle news and practical tips.
