City Gateway Media offers animated ad service

LONDON - City Gateway Media is launching a new service allowing animated ads to be created from static original assets.

The service means that advertisers can transfer six-sheet posters to the City Gateway's Skyscraper Manchester Tower outdoor screen, with no loss of content or quality.

City Gateway Media said that using the option will give ads far more appeal and impact to the on-the-street-audience.

The firm is the largest format digital outdoor operator, and Ian Bohn, sales and marketing director, said: ‘This is a major breakthrough for advertisers who don't wish to produce bespoke creative for the screen. They can now simply hand over the visual assets and our technology will do the job for them.'

The City Gateway Tower is the first and largest skyscraper format outdoor digital screen in Europe, delivering to a daily audience of 207,000.

Brands using the screen recently include Vodafone, Agent Provocateur, Police Sunglasses, Toshiba, Key 103 and Marks & Spencer.
