Mediaedge:cia goes digital with sports

LONDON - Mediaedge:cia has launched its first digital campaign for swimwear brand Speedo to promote its beach sports lifestyle range.

The WPP-owned agency will partner with Eurosport to launch a microsite dedicated to beach sports and lifestyle, which is to be hosted on Eurosport's local UK and Italian sites throughout June and July at the web address www.speedo eurosport.com.
The site, which will feature eight weekly updates and a daily sports news feed, will be complemented by a text link, banner and message plus units (MPUs) campaign across the UK and Italian MSN and Eurosport sites.
The digital work supports Speedo's print campaign, which is currently running across Italian and UK style magazine titles, including iD and Dazed & Confused.
