Mediaedge:cia in travel promo deal

LONDON - Mediaedge:cia has brokered a deal between National Geographic and Star Alliance airlines that will feature a "Visit Southern Africa" campaign across the publisher's magazines, television channel and website.

It is the first time Star Alliance has run such an integrated campaign with an international media owner. The £1.35m (EUR2m) campaign features images of Southern African landscapes taken by National Geographic Magazine photographer Annie Griffiths Belt, and TV footage from a National Geographic Channel team.

Star Alliance members will also promote the campaign within their in-flight magazines, websites and onboard entertainment channels.
