Starcom's Heyworth to join Mediaedge:cia

WPP-owned agency Mediaedge:cia has poached Starcom's new business development director Sarah Heyworth to take up the newly created role of client services director in the UK.

Heyworth will join Mediaedge:cia on 8 January, where she will work alongside client services director Carol Middleton, as the agency looks to expand its UK client services team.
While at Starcom, Heyworth was responsible for new business development, managing the pitch process and following up leads.
In her new position, she will be tasked with developing existing business as well as supporting future growth across the agency.
She will report into joint managing directors Toby Jenner and Steve Hatch, who were both promoted to the role in last month's restructure of the agency's UK management team.
Existing managing director Tom George was promoted to chief executive in the reshuffle, while director of strategy Stuart Sullivan-Martin, was promoted to chief strategy officer.
