Sugar reinstates Rimmel as model search sponsor

Hachette Filipacchi UK's teen magazine, Sugar, has re-signed cosmetics giant Rimmel London to sponsor its annual model search.

The partnership marks the sixth consecutive year that Rimmel London has sponsored the London Model Competition, now in its 11th year.

The Sugar / Rimmel London Model Competition 2007 will be taking place in seven major shopping centres across the UK this month, with model scouts and celebrities leading the search for a model to appear in a fashion spread in Sugar next summer.

The six finalists will win £150 fashion vouchers and will be invited to London for a photoshoot to appear in Sugar.  The overall winner will also have the chance of being signed by modelling agency ICM and will receive £100 worth of Rimmel London products.

This year's roadshows will incorporate catwalk shows featuring models from ICM and, for the first time, music from four brand new bands chosen by Sugar's readers from an original shortlist of 12 in conjunction with PopworldPromotes.com.
